The Innovative Bookkeepers Are
the Solution to Your Bookkeeping
and Accounting Needs.

The Innovative Bookkeepers are the number one source for your Ormond bookkeeping needs. We started helping businesses in Ormond Beach back in 2010 and are still going strong. Along the way, we developed a mission to help our clients prevent mistakes.

Since the start of this mission, we have succeeded helping client companies understand their obligations and help them meet deadlines. Our goal is to understand our client’s business and how they fit into the local, state, and federal tax structures.  Once we understand that, we can guide them around pitfalls and into loop holes.

But, you may be asking who are we referring to when we say “we”. My name is Travis Konarik and my wife’s name is Kristy Knight. I am a software developer, problem solver, and mathematics lover. I work hard behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly and is well coordinated. One of my largest tasks is maintaining software programs that allow us to do our jobs quicker and more accurately. I work closely with the QuickBooks software platform and the IRS electronic filing systems on a routine basis.

My wife on the other hand is the smart one.  She has a Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.  She has worked in the accounting industry since 2003. Some of her time was spent working for a local CPA in Ormond Beach as well. Since her humble beginnings, she has moved on to get her EA, Enrolled Agent, licence. An enrolled agent is a designation given by the IRS directly to individuals who meet specific criteria.  You can read more about them on the IRS’s FAQ.

It comes down to this: we are local people who are business owners just like yourself and we want to see you succeed. We put in a lot of effort, continuing education, and care to make sure that you do not have to worry about your books.  When you need a P&L for the bank, its already done. When it comes to tax time, we are usually waiting for forms to come in the mail to complete them. If you get a notice from the IRS or state, we have the documentation to prove that it was their mistake not yours. It’s that simple. We have your back.
